Managing Your PayPal Billing Agreement

How PayPal billing agreements work with your Formula subscription: why cancelling in PayPal alone doesn't stop the subscription, how to cancel properly, and how to get a wrong charge refunded.

If you paid for Formula with PayPal, PayPal created a billing agreement (you may also see it called an "automatic payment" or "pre-approved payment"). It's a standing authorization that lets future subscription charges go through. On your PayPal statement it appears as PAYPAL*FORMULACARE or FJOR NUTRITION.

If you were already charged and didn't expect it — write to us first. Email [email protected] with the charge date and amount. We can see the payment on our side and refund it within 24 hours if it shouldn't have happened. That's faster than a PayPal dispute, and you don't need to open one.

How the two cancellations relate — the part that catches people out

  • Cancelling your Formula subscription with us also ends the PayPal billing agreement.

  • Cancelling the agreement in PayPal does NOT cancel your Formula subscription. Your plan stays active on our side, and you may keep seeing renewal attempts — declined by PayPal, but still generating notifications and, in some cases, account issues.

So: always cancel with us. Checking PayPal afterwards is a belt-and-braces step, not a substitute.

Step 1 — Cancel the subscription with us

Profile → Manage Subscriptions → Cancel Subscription, or use the button below. You'll get a cancellation confirmation email within minutes — that email is your proof.

Step 2 — Double-check in PayPal

  1. Log in to PayPal → Settings (gear icon) → Payments Automatic payments (in some countries: "Automatic payments and subscriptions" or "Pre-approved payments").

  2. Find FJOR Nutrition / Formula CareCancel.

This stops PayPal from approving any future charge from us.

Don't see an agreement there but still being charged? Then the subscription isn't billed through PayPal — check whether it's on a card, the App Store or Google Play. Seeing "FJOR Nutrition" or "Formula.care" charge on Your Bank or PayPal Statement? explains how to tell from the charge name.

About past charges

Ending the billing agreement stops future charges; it doesn't reverse past ones. If you believe a charge was made in error — for example, if you canceled before renewal, were billed more than once for the same purchase, or did not sign up — please contact us with the payment details so we can review the case and assist you further.
