I Canceled but Was Still Charged

Cancelled your Formula subscription but still see a charge from Formula Care or FJOR Nutrition? The five reasons it happens — wrong store, incomplete cancellation, duplicates — and how to get the charge refunded.

If you cancelled your subscription but still see a charge from "Formula Care", "FORMULA-APP.COM", or "FJOR Nutrition" — we're sorry. Let's find what happened and fix it.

The short version: if you cancelled before the renewal date and were still charged, we'll refund that charge. Email [email protected] with your cancellation date and the charge date — we reply within 24 hours. There's no need to open a bank dispute; writing to us is faster.

Here are the five reasons this happens:

  • Cancellation does not end access immediately

Canceling your subscription only prevents future renewals; it does not cancel or reverse the current subscription period, even if it was charged minutes or days earlier. After cancellation, you can still use the app until your current subscription period expires, but you will not be charged again.

  • The subscription was purchased in one place but checked in another

A subscription bought on our website can't be cancelled through Apple or Google — and vice versa. Apple and Google only show subscriptions purchased directly through their stores.

  1. iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Formula

  2. Android: Google Play → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Formula

  3. Not there? Then it was purchased on our website — check and cancel it here:

Note: Cancelling on our website also ends the PayPal agreement; here's how to make sure it's off: PayPal → Settings → Payments → Automatic payments → Formula Care / FJOR Nutrition → Cancel.

  • The cancellation didn't complete

A cancellation is final only when you receive a cancellation confirmation email. No email = the subscription is most likely still active. This can happen if the flow wasn't finished to the last step, or the confirmation went to a mistyped email address.

If you don't have a confirmation email, contact us — we’ll check your subscription status, cancel any active subscription if needed, and review your refund request according to our Refund Policy.

  • There was more than one subscription

A duplicate subscription was purchased accidentally under the same account, or a separate subscription was created under another account. Cancelling one leaves the other active. • "Past due" payment attempts

If a renewal charge was declined and you cancelled afterwards, the system may still retry the payment for that already-started period. If you see payment attempts after cancelling, contact us — we'll stop them.

Cancelled long ago, charged today?

If you cancelled months ago (even a year — annual plans renew on the anniversary) and a new charge appeared:

  • If you have your cancellation confirmation email — send it with the charge details, and we'll refund the charge.

  • If you can't find a confirmation — send us the approximate date and how you cancelled; we'll check our records and resolve it honestly from what the logs show.

Deleting the app or your data does not cancel a subscription — if that's what happened, the subscription was still active; contact us and we'll cancel it now and review the charge.
